Climate

Košicky is bordered in the west by the Slovakian Ore Mountains and in the east by the Ukraine. The region, which surrounds the second largest town in Slovakia, Košice, is made up of wooded areas such as Eperieser or Sovare. There are even geysers: Herl’any is 25km north east of Košice. At regular intervals, you can watch the gushing springs. 25km north east of Košice is the dam lake of Ruzniz, which, at a size of 600 hectares, provides numerous leisure and sports activities.
