The municipality of Kaliska (6 km from the holiday resort of Dunajki) embraces the part of the Starogard and Kociew lake districts in the southern part of the Gdansk province. Road Tczew-Chojnice 6 km. 86% of this region are forests embracing 11 lakes. The abundance of birds and fish, including beaver lodges, indicates their unpolluted character. The lack of hazardous industry and the low density of population create a good background for the development of local tourism. There are 4 sign posted hiking trails across this area. Amongst the rarities of nature it is worth enlisting the northern twinflower reserve in the Lesna Huta vicinity.
