Well-known health resort with 11'000 inhabitants, convenient, 40 km south-east from Toruń. In the resort: shopping centre, post office, bank, restaurant, bar, disco, concerts, attractions. Wellness centre, health cures, massage. Besides: chemist. Access: railway station in the resort. Bus service. For arrivals by plane: airport Warszawa (WAW) 215 km, Gdańsk (GDN) 220 km. The largest and most important brine and mud spa resort in Poland. The town is surrounded by woods, 4 parks and lots of greenery and flowers. It specializes in curing diseases of circulation system, nervous system, motion system, breathing system and women's and dental diseases. The heart of the resort and a meeting point is "Grzyb" - brine fountain built in 1926. The main attraction of the town are 3 wooden twig towers (the largest in Europe) that are used to evaporate water from brine.
