Climate

Small hamlet, 35 km east from Węgorzewo, 45 km from Giżycko, 140 km from Olsztyn. Access: railway station "Węgorzewo" 35 km. For arrivals by plane: airport Warszawa (WAW) 280 km, Gdańsk (GDN) 300 km. Kierzki is situated in Puszcza Borecka - the least known region in Poland. Woods and waters in the area are rich in wild animals, 150 species of birds live there (f.ex. golden eagle, osprey, black stark). In the heart of forest it is possible to meet f.ex. aurochs, roe-deers, beavers. Olsztyn 140 km. Goldap with border crossing to Russia - 20 km.
