Zandvoort is an ideal holiday destination for the whole year: exciting shopping in the town, relaxing walks on the beach, interesting cultural events and fine wine and dine invite for an unforgettable holiday by the North Sea. Enjoy the sandy beaches and visit also Amsterdam: Zandvoort lays only ca. 30 minutes car ride from the capital. Famous, busy bathing resort directly by the sea, 45 km west from Amsterdam, 12 km west from Haarlem, 45 km north from Den Haag. In the resort: shops, bakers, boutiques, restaurant, bar, disco, casino, evening entertainment, museum, cinema, attractions. Wellness centre, fitness centre. Access: motorway A9, exit number "Haarlem/Zandvoort" 10 km from Zandvoort. Railway station "Heemstede" 8 km. Bus service. Bloemendaal 10 km. Scheveningen 50 km. For arrivals by plane: airport Amsterdam-Schiphol (AMS) 35 km. Zandvoort lays between two national parks, the Amsterdamse Waterleidingduinen and the Nationaal Park Zuid-Kennemerland, where you can find nice and wellprepared hiking and biking routes on 47 km² in the summer just like in the winter. Visit a car-or motor race, for example the Formula III on the Circuit Park Zandvoort, right at the edge of the town!
