The most active city in The Netherlands is Amsterdam. It has no less than 1281 bridges and 165 canals along which you will find the characteristic town houses have made this city famous. Amsterdam offers versatile nightlife entertainment sas theater, musical cafe's and restaurants. The Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum, 'Paleis op de Dam' and the house of Anne Frank are certainly worth a visit. Amsterdam is known for it's lively terraces, squares, friendly people and the amount of bicycles. It is possible to book canal cruises, city walks and cycling the VVV Tourist Office. Amsterdam is easily accessible by train, car or plane. Schiphol 10 km. The Hague 55 km. Rotterdam 75 km. Large, famous, historical city 30 km from the sea. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort.
