Climate
Small, well-known, cosy, historical, picturesque village directly by the lake, 40 km south-east from Leeuwarden, 20 km east from Sneek, 15 km south from Harlingen. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort. Access: motorway A7 Amsterdam - Leeuwarden, exit number 17 "Zurich" 5 km from Makkkum. For arrivals by plane: airport Amsterdam (AMS) 120 km, Groningen (GRQ) 110 km.
