Getting there
Flights to Greece are easy to find. There are scheduled and charter flights to the mainland and directly to many of the islands. Go online or ask your travel agent to help you find the best travel deal. There are regular ferry services from the mainland to the islands. Car hire and scooter hire is widely available. An international diving licence is required and it is advisable to carry your driving license, insurance certificate and vehicle registration, along with your passport. Speed limit on motorways is 120 km/hour, in towns 50 km/hour. In Greece seat belts are compulsory. Children under 10 must travel in the back. It is illegal to use the car horn in cities unless to avoid an accident. The blood/alcohol limit is 50 mg.
Entry Requirements
