In the centre of East Frisia is the cosy city in the interior 30 km from the sea, 30 km east from Emden. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort. Evening entertainment, museum, cinema, attractions. Aurich itself has a number of sights to see including the "Stiftsmuehle" from 1858, the "Pingelhus" or the mausoleum.
