Lake Constance is situated in southern Germany. It forms the border with Switzerland and Austria and it is the largest lake in Germany. After Lake Balaton and Lake Leman, it is the 3rd largest lake in central Europe. The circumference of the lake is 263 km of which 168 km is German, 69 km Swiss and 26 km Austrian. With its gentle climate, beautiful and varied countryside, the small pretty towns as well as a rich cultural heritage make this region the most enjoyed, all year round.
