Baroque royal city and health resort with 18'000 inhabitants, 130 km east from Dortmund, 55 km from Winterberg, 48 km from Kassel. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort. Museum. Indoor pool, sauna, health cures. Access: railway station in the resort. For arrivals by plane: airport Paderborn (PAD) 60 km, Dortmund (DTM) 123 km, Hannover (HAJ) 200 km. Worth Seeing: The Baroque Royal castle, mountain park Wilhelmshohe Kassel, the thermal spas of Kassel and there are also some fine examples of the well kept Romanesque architecture.
