Further information on the country Germany

Climate Shops
Between the Danube, the Bohemian Forest and the Austrian border stretches a forest of nearly 6.000 km2. It is the largest forest in central Europe. Here, visitors can spend a dreamy holiday, as it is a serene part of the country with many interesting sites, some known, some amazing and others still to be discovered. Beautiful natural sights such as waterfalls, floating islands on the small Arber Lake, the passes and gorges, marshland and white pine forests. It is also in this region where a rare breed of river mussels can be found.
