Eating and Drinking

Slovakian cuisine is spicier than Czech cuisine as it is very similar to Hungarian cooking: goulash, lamb and an assortment of kebabs, just to name a few, are the most well known and popular dishes. These dishes are normally served with potatoes, meatballs, peppers or chilli. Typical Slovakian cuisine includes many varieties of goats cheese: Ostipok, Hyncica, Korbacika, and the most well known, ”Liptovska Bryndza” (goats cheese with paprika) which you must certainly try. As in the Czech Republic, beer in Slovakia is the number one national beverage.
