Well-known, cosy resort with 2'500 inhabitants,. All shops, restaurants etc. in Uherské Hradiště 3 km. In the resort: grocers, bakers, post office, bank, restaurant, bar, attractions. Brno 58 km. For arrivals by plane: airport Wien International (VIE), Brno (BRQ), Zlin (GTW). The community Velehrad, you can find it 7 km north-west from uherské Hradiste at the foot of Chriby forming the highest part of the Centrl Moravian Carpathian Mountains. In the region there is to be found a lot of historical and cultural monuments, museums, tourist paths, cycling routes, areas for sport and relaxation. You can also select from a wide range of cultural and folklore events taking place in the environs. You can also visit the region where most probably the centre of the Great Moravian Empire came into being, a region of rich cultural tradition and the place where excellent wine varieties have been produced up to nowadays - Slovacko (Moravian Slovakia) - a region filled with sunny days and wellbeing. The Baroque castle in Buchlovice from the beginning of the 18th century is an important monument and a beautiful castle park. Velehrad, 5 km from Buchlovice - well-known pilgramage destination.
