Health resort with 14'000 inhabitants,. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort. Indoor pool, thermal pool. Brno 200 km. Lázně Lipová 5 km. Karlova Studánka 25 km. For arrivals by plane: airport Wien International (VIE), Ostrava (OSR). On the north side at the foot of the Gesenke mountains (440 m). Worthseeing: church, late gotic castle, monument to V Preissnitz (1826). Javornik with the large baroque castle Jansky crch 24 km. Karlova Studanka, in the middle of forests and the river "Bila Opava" 25 km. Jeseniky Mountains are not only mountains itself. There are ski resorts, sports facilities, wonderful sights, beautiful nature, swimming pools and spa resorts. The most famos Priessnitz spa resort or Lázně Lipová, Velké Losiny or Karlova Studánka resorts. There are ski schools with willing instructors who could teach you to ski or snowboard. You can use also ski rentals and of course plenty of ski slopes and cableways in many ski resorts such as Ramzová, Ostružná, Petříkov, Červenohorské Sedlo, Praděd, Ovčárna, Šerák, Malá Morávka, Zlaté Hory and many more.
