Access via a good road. Railway station in the resort. Bus service. The city is located on the foot of mountains Jizerske hory on the edge of preserved landscape area CHKO Jizerske hory - favourite touristic area in summer and winter. It´s well-known as a city of costume jewellery, synthetic stones, pearls and buttons. Range of Jizerske hory is 40 km long and 20 km wide. In the south part of mountains were built 12 water dams, which are used mainly as a source of drinkable water. Cesky raj, CHKO with many rocks formations and big amount of cultural monuments, 15 km.
