650 - 850 m. >>Resort, 23 km from Nové Město nad Metují, 15 km from Náchod. All shops, restaurants etc. 6 - 20 km. In the resort: grocers, restaurant, museum. Road 11 Hradec Králové - Rychnov. For arrivals by plane: airport Praha (PRG) 170 km. The town is also well-known recreation center in the preserved landscape area CHKO Orlicke hory, under the mountain Velka Desna (1115m) and at the entrance to the untouchable landscape of Divoka Orlice, which creates a natural border with Poland. Its dam Pastvinska prehrada (110 ha), favourite location for tourists, lies at the entrance of the valley of Divoka Orlice (Zelezna vrata). Trips: town Nove mesto nad Metuji 23 km, water dam Rozkos and valley Babicino udoli (literary well-known area) 30 km.
