>>Krk is Croatia's largest island, connected to the mainland via a huge arched bridge and with its own airport. Due to its touristic value, the island is called the "Golden Island" and because of its natural beauty, the "Green Island". Krk is the most visited island with many well-known and picturesque bathing resorts. Small, historical, quiet, family friendly resort with 3000 inhabitants, in the northern part of the island directly by the sea, 34 km south-east from Rijeka, 25 km north from Krk, 24 km west from Crikvenica. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort. Indoor pool, sauna, sun bed, massage at 25 - 30 km. More possibilities for shopping and entertainments 25 - 30 km. Access: motorway A1 Zagreb - Rijeka. Then road 102 Rijeka - most Krk - Omisalj. Access by train Zagreb - Rijeka. Railway station "Rijeka" 34 km. Bus service. Harbour Rijeka 34 km. For arrivals by plane: airport Rijeka (Omisalj) (RJK) 2 km, Zagreb (ZAG) 200 km.
