Crikvenica is one of the oldest summer resorts on the Mediterranean and a famous health resort with mild climate and luxurious evergreen vegetation. Cosy, family friendly bathing resort with 7'000 inhabitants, in the south-eastern part of the region directly by the sea, 30 km south-east from Rijeka. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort. Indoor pool, fitness centre, sauna, sun bed, massage, thalassotherapy. Besides: chemist, doctor. More possibilities for shopping and entertainments 30 - 35 km. Access: motorway A1 Zagreb - Rijeka. Then road 8 Rijeka - Crikvenica. Access by train Zagreb - Rijeka. Railway station "Rijeka" 30 km. Bus service. Harbour Rijeka 30 km. For arrivals by plane: airport Rijeka (Omisalj) (RJK) 24 km, Zagreb (ZAG) 210 km.
