630 m. >>The former mining village of Bad Haering is situated on a sunny high plateau south of the Inn valley. The town comprises several small suburbs and one typically Tirollean village centre. Meadows and woods, high moorlands, ponds and numerous small waterfalls form a centre of relaxation with an especially charming character. It was named the first spa town in Tirol after the discovery of mineral springs in 1951. Small, cosy holiday resort, health resort and spa resort with 2065 inhabitants, in the countryside, 11 km south-west from Kufstein, 67 km east from Innsbruck. In the resort: supermarket, shops, grocers, bakers, post office, bank, restaurant, bar. Thermal pool, wellness centre, fitness centre, sauna, sun bed, health cures, massage. Access: railway station "Kufstein" 11 km. Worth seeing: Festival town Erl 26 km, Haslach moorlands, game reserve (Wildgehege). For arrivals by plane: airport Innsbruck (INN) 67 km, München Franz Josef (MUC) 104 km, Salzburg (SZG) 122 km.
