Guttaring is situated in a sunny, wind protected and lovely rambling area. Swimming, fishing, hunting, bowling and tennis are possible. Althofen, Austria's largest mud and moor health spa (baths) is only 3 km away. Although Guttaring is situated away from the main street it can be reached easily because of the excellent street network. Railway station Treibach-Althofen 5 km, airport Klagenfurt 40 km. Ideal starting point for excursions to the most important cultural monuments of Kärnten, to the Klippitztörl or to the nearby bathing lake, mountain tours to the 1818 m Hohenwart.
