Historical resort with 8'500 inhabitants, in the eastern part of the region directly by the sea, in a convenient position, 110 km south-east from Valencia, 85 km north-east from Alicante. In the resort: supermarket, shops, butchers, bakers, boutiques, post office, bank, restaurant, bar, disco, concerts, evening entertainment, museum. Besides: chemist, doctor. Access: motorway AP-7, exit number "Benissa". Access via a good road. Railway station "Benissa" 10 km. Harbour Club Nautico. Calpe 10 km. Jávea 10 km. Benissa 10 km. For arrivals by plane: airport Valencia-Manises (VLC) 125 km, Alicante-El Altet (ALC) 95 km. Situated in a pretty bay surrounded by hills, fields and typical houses and fincas. Flea market every Friday, fish for sale every morning. In hot dry periods water may be rationed. Car is necessary.
