House/Residence
Villa di Castello situated in one of the most beautiful areas of the Alto Mugello (700 m above sea level). The estate was founded in the Middle Ages by the Counts of Cremona. The house is owned by a local family along with the Castello della Rocca (I5293/820) which is not far away from the house. Large private park with individual outdoor areas with magnificent panoramic views. A road worth seeing leads to Florence (Ex Granducale). Numerous trekking possibilities. The owner family also lives on the estate. Weddings, for example, can also be celebrated in the chapel. The whole estate is fantastically suited to special receptions and weddings. Catering service on request. 2 further single beds can be hired, on request (one in the single room, the other in the small tower, extra, payable locally). Covered balcony and wood-fired stove. Minimum rental period: 2 weeks between 02.01.06 and 01.04.06 and 30.10.06 and 25.11.06. Heating costs (according to usage of heating and hot water). As you travel you realise that things can be very different from country to country as well as from region to region. This is what makes travel and holidays so interesting. Differences can also be expected in a holiday home. The type and quality of furnishings, and the look of the property, are normally in line with local conditions.
What should you expect to find in your holiday home?

In Addition
- Heating is available in properties that are available for rent in the winter. The heating cost is included unless stated as an extra. In summer resorts, heating or heaters are only available when mentioned in the description and normally costs extra. Heating is not available in Italy from approximately mid April to mid October.
- TVs are only included where indicated in the description. They are usually in colour. Black and white TVs are very rare but sometimes are provided and will be shown in the brochure description as "b/w".
- Fireplaces are for use (unless "ornamental" is mentioned), though firewood normally costs extra, provided it is available, or can be bought locally.
